Since 2001, I had worked for various financial institutions within the mortgage industry until 2014 when I transitioned over to the mortgage brokerage side. My time working for those  financial institutions, has helped me to gain extensive knowledge and experience within the  mortgage and real estate industry.

Refinancing allows you to access the equity from your home. You can use the funds from your equity for such things as paying off your outstanding debts, renovating your home or putting a down payment on a second property.


You can also earn additional income from your equity by earning rental income by renovating your basement into a basement apartment, purchasing a rental property or investing the funds into different investment vehicles such as stocks and bonds.

Alternative financing is for the clients whom have experienced hardships in life which have unfortunately affected their credit profile. Bankruptcies, judgements, collections or late payments are all reasons for alternative lending.

Alternative Financing is also ideal for clients whom are  self employed who have the income to qualify for a mortgage but cannot prove their income through the traditional banks' stringent guidelines. Or if you are a non- resident client who lives and works outside of Canada there are alternative financing options available to you as well.


Getting a mortgage can be a time consuming lengthy process. That is why I will be there to guide you through the whole process from the beginning to the end. Here is what you will need to get started:

  • 2 pieces of identification such as a drivers license or passport

  • Proof of employment (recent letter of employment and paystub)

  • Proof of down payment (3 months savings bank statement) 

  • Purchase and Sale Agreement and MLS listing

  • Recent mortgage statement (for refinance applications)

  • Recent property tax bill (for refinance applications)

  • Void Cheque

  • Lawyer Information


Once I receive the documents I will begin the mortgage application process by assessing and evaluating your income and credit history. Once we have discussed the application and the product best suited for you, I will submit your application to the lender. The processing time from the approval of the mortgage to the closing date is on average 3-6 weeks.
